Avatar not centered ubuntu 9.04

my avatars come out partially cropped, missing ears, cut off chin, etc. It seems as though the image is saved on a canvas smaller than in memaker.

Coul you provide us with the image? Or perhaps a screenshot? Is this a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04.

It does the same with SVG files. I performed a complete install from the Ubuntu 9.04 CD, overwriting (and deleting) the older Ubuntu 8.10 .

I did not upgrade using the update manager- I burned a CD with the new Ubuntu 9.04 and reinstalled everything new.

I just installed too. I can confirm this bug. Not a clue why this is
happening. This is a big one.

I don't know if it's big enough to throw myself from the Empire State Building in despair, but it does make the avatars unusable. Maybe putting in adjustable size or an adjustable canvas? It looks like a fun program.

Anyways, why does the guru of this memaker forum have such a generic avatar? Looks like bad publicity...

I will see if the image is not saving properly, or if it is simply not loading properly. I still have a computer with 8.10 on it and will get too it soon. REALLY busy at it is the end of the school year.
I like my avatar, and I use the memaker ones all the time, I have whole office that use them.

Also, could someone with 8.10 make an avatar similar to the one posted and post it here... perhaps there is a difference we should see.

No rush, I've lived 38 years without this program and can probably survive just a bit longer. Anyways, I'm still having fun playing around with memaker, even though I can't use the images yet. I think it's a cool program and I appreciate the work put into making it and helping resolve problems.
The Avatar I see in this bug report for you is the same generic one as mine.

Fixed in my branch was actually only a two line patch :-)

NOTE: I you have existing memaker configuration/cache file you must delete them for this to start working, after that it will work automatically
