This is a blueprint: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/memaker/+spec/pidgin-integration
It should be pretty simple, add a png to the icons folder in .purple and change the the accounts.xml file with <setting name="buddy_icon" type="string">memaker.png</setting> (yeah, in the correct account and naming should be something else (memakerXX.png where XX is a number or so)

Well, in theory it is simple. But the issue is that there are different sizes and file types that work for every account. We should figure out which why to go with it.
Should we take the largest available avatar size and only make them that big?
Should we have memaker figure out what avatar sizes we should used for each account type and make one for each automatically.
And my personal favorite: Shouldn't pidgin jsut do this in D-Bus? Apperently not... after looking for the feature and talking to them online about it... they said pidgin doesn't have that feature. Shouldn't they implement this? Then we don't have to hack around in pidgin and make sure each version of pidgin works with each version of memaker.
Right now... if you set your avatar in pidgin to the same file as your gnome avatar, sometimes the avatars will change.
