Mediascanner crashes

This is using the newest version of thumbnailer

It would be useful to know if this is related to the libthumbnailer0 update only (https://code.launchpad.net/~unity-team/thumbnailer/trunk two commits after the previous release), or if this is covered by the other known mediascanner crashers bug #1236355 bug #1221984 bug #1221184 that happen also with the older thumbnailer.

<@pstolowski> I don't know thumbnailer code much, but knowing what they both are doing I don't think thumbmailer changes have anything to do with the crash of mediascanner

Is this the trunk mediascanner or the one in image?

The trunk one has a double-free bug that is detected when running the tests on amd64.

Closing as invalid, since the report lacks useful symbolic stacktrace and packages which the report requires are outdated. Please re-open if you still get the issue with latest images.
