Bug Description
spawned from bug 1495871 in order to keep the other issues of fd leaks separate.
The issue here is that this leaking results in a frozen unresponsive ui - users must reboot and has been a plague of OTA6

Did some analysis with tvoss today and we've found the origin of the fd leaks which results in gstreamer elements not correctly freeded.

I still the fd leak but not clear yet where this comes from.
