Me-Tv does not inhibit screen saver on GNOME 3

Bug Description
I am using a build of Me-TV from a branch of the mainline branch on Debian Unstable. --version reports 1.4.0.9. I use GNOME3 Shell.
Television is playing fine now that I have managed to get a correct channel file after the UK DSO and hence massive channel rearrangement.
However, the screen saver kicks in whilst playing television in full screen. There doesn't seem to be an option to get me-tv-client to stop this from happening.
