me-tv on ubuntu 12.04 does not work

I have upgraded my ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 TLS and since me-tv 1.3.6 reports an error with the old .*db. And the new version me-tv1.4.0 has many deficiencies with libraries. Installation is impossible!

Same problem here. On 12.04 cannot get me-tv to load. Fails with message about data base. Unresponsive. Have to kill through PID.

Any news about getting 1.3.7. into 12.04?
