Bug Description

I have Kubuntu 11.04 Natty 64bits. Using USB ISDB-Tb tuner (dvb_usb_dib0700). The problem happens with me-tv 2.0.1. I've tried installing from source first and then the GetDeb package. In both cases when I start the program I get the following message:

Failed to communicate with Me TV server. Would you like the Me TV client to attempt to start it?

By clicking "yes" the program opens and I can see the channels, but no record button available. I have available the "Scheduled Recordings" button, but I think can not configure anything when I enter there.

Side note, with ISDB-Tb standard [MPEG-TS;Video: AVC (h264);Audio:AAC] only works with "vlc" as engine. With "gstreamer" nothing works (no video, no audio). With "xine" I have video but no audio.

Hello. The previous package (1.4.0-0~30~oneiric1) continued giving me the error message. The actual version (1.4.0-0~31~oneiric1) works correctly. In this version vido and audio works well too (ISDB-Tb > AVC h264 - aac).
A question, In this version is normal that does not appear the record button like in the 2.0.1 version? I only can record programming in "schedule" section.

You can right click on a EPG event, it will trigger the recording. You can
also click an EPG event, a window open to show you option and you have I
record button.

Cheers,
Frederic

Oh, I see.
Digital TV is very new in my country and EPG is experimental. I have EPG available only in 3 of 20 channels. A record button would be great.
