bezel list selector goes nuts on mouse selection or pop to parent

When a bezellistselector is holding a lot of items (such as being in a child index of a large folder), clicking on one item mid to low in the list or backing back into a parent that was mid or low in the list causes the bezellistselector to cycle up and down through items uncontrollably sometimes, I have yet to find a pattern for the behavior.
