When I change a property in the gui, while the window visibility is hidden, the change only occurs a fraction of a second after the window becomes visible again, which makes the graphics flicker from the old image to the new one.

How to initiate this flaw:
In the command window type something like "de" , then the list selector will show up after half a second. close it by pressing Esc,
now type somehthing different like "ho", then the list selector will show up with the -old- items, and then refresh to the new items.

Maybe this is related to poor performance caused by layered windows (allowsTransparency = true) on win XP being software rendered and not hardware accelerated
