Maya needs a daily PPA

Like other applications such as Switchboard, Marlin etc, Maya needs a daily PPA to ease and expedite the development and bug reporting process.

Why would the progress needed to be tested? The application is in early alpha stages of development; reporting bugs would just be fruitless due to the constantly changing and constantly modified code. I haven't compiled trunk, but if the blueprints are any indicator then not much is working. If anything, bug reports would just be distracting. IMO of course.

dr.frankinfurter, you make a good point, but elementary also uses launchpad's bug reporting for feature requests, esp. with new projects. For Maya, non-implemented features constitute bugs, and thus it would be very helpful to report them.

But that's really irrelevant because the important thing here is that the PPA be a *daily* PPA. That is, it gets built and pushed out every time there's a change to the codebase, which makes life for us developers easier.

I'm changing the title to be more specific and marking the status as confirmed.

I have submitted branches for review that fix this bug. If anyone with push rights see this, please check out my submissions.

Note: Don't forget to add the unstable upstream PPA to the Maya PPA upon creation or Maya will NOT build.

The default recipe should work fine.
