maya-calendar opens and closes immediately

when trying to open may-calendar (elementary OS with pantheon) it shows up and closes immediately. Not possible to use it.

If you still have the install and the same issue (I realize this is an old issue), can you please run from the command line and show us the output?

Can you confirm this issue still exists on a fresh Loki install?
