Pidgin when restored from taskbar icon, have two title bars

Bug Description
When I start Pidgin, and then minimize it to taskbar, and then restore it; it has two title bars. One is the usual one, and other one is merged with the panel (done by maximus). But when I restore the window and then remaximize it, only one title bar (merged in panel) appears. So there is some problem with either maximus or pidgin when it is restored from taskbar icons.
Its difficult to figure out whether this is an issue with maximus or pidgin. Hence reporting it here.
P.S.: When I tried to take screenshot with "Ctrl+space" menu from title bar, I could not get one. Am I missing something or this is another bug (with UNR obviously, not with maximus)?
