Text color for selected icons is difficult to read

When icons in Marlin are selected, the highlighted text in the icons are shown in white. This is quite difficult to read for example if the back ground is white.

I am trying out Marlin on Ubuntu precise with Ambiance as the default theme.

Ahh, that's not bug in Marlin, but rather one in light-themes :)
Which reminds me to remind to @ammonkey to make light-themes-marlin-esque packages for the current (or final) version of light-themes in Precise :P (the current light-themes-marlin-esque package is a modification of rather obsolete version of light-themes)

Swarnendu, why is it hard to read? I have Ambiance as my theme as well, and considering the highlights are orange, the white text is quite easy to read. Are your highlights orange? Or are they showing up as grey?

@Satchit: Yes, the selection is orange, and the selected text is white. But unlike say Nautilus, the color combination is not good for reading. At least, that is what I am facing on my system.

I have attached a screen shot if it helps in understanding.

I have the same problem. In my case, the text color and the selection color are both completely white, making the text totally unreadable; no amount of squinting helps here.

Testing on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with the Ambiance theme.

Same for me. The text and selection are both completely white and not readable. (Precise with standard theme)
