Segmentation fault when press navigate buttons in empty folder

Bug Description

Marlin crashes when I press some navigation button (i. e. down arrow) and returns Segmentation fults.
I have this bug in last (790) revision in 64-bit Archlinux.

I was able to reproduce this in Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit on April 9, 2012 at 16:00 UTC. Pressing any of the navigation buttons in an empty folder causes segmentation faults.

I can confirm the bug and created a backtrace with Marlin 0.1-0~879~precise1:
