address bar should stay active after typing a folder name and entering it to allow faster navigation

Bug Description

Let's say I want to navigate from my home directory to ./Documents/University. After I click on the address bar and type 'Documents' and press enter, I should be able to continue typing 'University' into the address bar without clicking it again.
