Bug Description

When upgrading mariadb on Ubuntu 11.10 I got the following egrep error message:

Preparing to replace mariadb-server-5.3 5.3.4-mariadb111~oneiric (using .../mariadb-server-5.3_5.3.5-mariadb113~oneiric_amd64.deb) ...
 * Stopping MariaDB database server mysqld [ OK ]
egrep: character class syntax is [[:space:]], not [:space:]

See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=630672 for a fix.

This was already fixed in 5.5, however the fix is trivial so I now fixed it in 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 also.
Fix will be in next release of each respective revision.

Changed in maria:
milestone: 5.2 → 5.1
status: New → Fix Released
Changed in debian:
status: Unknown → Fix Released
