ST_INTERSECTION includes 1 extra edge in maria-5.3-gis

The following expression:

SELECT AsText( ST_INTERSECTION( PolygonFromText(' POLYGON ( (0 5, 3 5, 3 0, 0 0, 0 1, 2 1, 2 2 , 1 2 , 1 3 , 2 3 , 2 4, 0 4 , 0 5) ) ') , MultiPolygonFromText(' POLYGON( (3 5, 2 5, 2 4, 3 4, 3 5) ) ') ) );

produces the following result:

POLYGON((2 4,2 5,0 5,3 5,3 4,2 4))

which contains the segment 2 5 , 0 5 , 3 5 which is incorrect.
