Ubuntu 8.04, sun-java6-bin 6-06-0ubuntu1
Java applications do not respect the font rendering settings made in Appearence Preferences. Attached is a screenshot of two applications: to the right is a native GTK application with the fonts rendered properly; to the left is a Java application wiht the fonts rendered improperly.
