Bug Description
I discussed reportbug and bug-buddy support with infinity. Here were some ideas:
infinity: So, even a form I can POST to, with some magic cookie that I can use to do anonymous (well, not logged in to launchpad) bug filing without opening you to a spamfest would be fine.
infinity: There's no harm in the magic cookie being public knowlege (which it obviously would be if it was in the reportbug and bug-buddy sources), it's just there to prevent crawlers/bots from finding a form, going "oo, let's see what this does", and filling your database with crap.
Clearly, reportbug and bug-buddy support is a critical part of making Malone more useful for capturing Ubuntu bug reports.

This report seems to conflate two things: "reportbug and bug-buddy don't work with Malone" and "filing bugs in Malone can't be done anonymously". The rationale for not allowing anonymous bugs is that it wouldn't allow us to contact the bug submitter for more information. Steve has suggested that a Ubuntu desktop bug reporting tool could include some form of authentication, including a streamlined Launchpad signup process.
