Moderator Not Allowed to Post

Currently, the moderator cannot post to a moderated
list that he/she is moderator of. He/she must first
subscribe to the list. This would seem that common
sense would allow the moderator of his/her own list to
post.

Alternatives without having to join the list, per above:
1) Moderator just simply approves his/her own post(s).
2) Be added to the allow list in filters.
