Bug Description

Hi,

Since the release of gnome-icon-theme 2.30, the stock icons are not provided anymore and seem (from what I could understand) to be deprecated.

mail-notification needs either to embed the required stock_icons (at least stock_mail.png) or to use other icons.

To not hesitate to contact me for more info.

Alex

It seems that to embed the files, one could copy them to the mail-notification source, install them to, say, /usr/share/mail-notification and add that to the icon search path via gtk_icon_theme_append_search_path() (Docs at http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/2.18/GtkIconTheme.html)

Added the Fedora bug. We just changed which icons are being used with a trivial patch.

This is the patch used by openSUSE (it comes from Mandriva, I think).
