Bug Description
Under Ubuntu 9.04, with libnotify1 (0.4.5-0ubuntu1), notifications never show. Instead, a dialog window appears to display the message (you have x new messages), even if the application is configured for the popup stack.
All the other applications of the desktop use perfectly libnotify.

Same here. Ubuntu Karmic (9.10). Libnotify 0.4.5-1ubuntu1.
