Hi, i have been using mail notification for 3 years and it is a very useful software for my daily work.
The only missing feature for me is the option to ignore certain kind of messages. At my work a spam filter put a specific header on the message to mark it as spam but the mail notification icon know nothing about it.
A workarround is to have evolution always running but that program has enough memory leaks to make that resource consuming.
So, in conclusion would be great to have filters to ignore some kind of messages. Maybe an aditional tab in the mailbox properties.

Have a nice day. Or night?
Hahaha

Makes sense. I will probably add a GConf setting accepting a list of
regular expressions specifying messages to ignore, eg:

       X-Spam-Status:.*yes
       X-Bogosity:.*yes

Note that these two particular rules (for SpamAssassin and bogofilter)
are currently hardcoded in the C code.

At my work we use dspam from nuclearelephant.
It uses X-DSPAM-Result: SPAM
I will confirm it when i back work (i'm out for lunch now).

Ok i confirm now. Just miscapitalized the result. It is "Spam" and not "SPAM".
The full header is:
X-DSPAM-Result: Spam

I'll add it to the default rules, thanks.
