Perferences will not open - Ubuntu 12.04

Bug Description
I am a newbie to Ubuntu, and have just recently started to experiment with 12.04. I installed Mail Notification today from the Software Center. Installion went fine, no issues. I went to Apps / Internet and clicked on Mail Notif. It opened the pereference box, I entered two Gmail accts. It has been working well for both accounts. I wanted to see if I could set the pop up window to remain open longer. I went back to ththanke launch icon in apps, but nothing happens when I click (right or left). How do I get back to the prohram set up / perference box?
