Bug Description
I get the error "unknown mailbox format" whichever of my mailbox dirs I select:
* ~/.local/
* ~/.local/
* ~/.local/

Same problem with Linux Mint 17.1, kernel 3.13.0-37-generic, and mail-notification 5.4.dfsg.1-9 and 5.4.dfsg.1-12. No local mailbox format can be read but I have no problems with local maildir mailboxes.
