Editing own feedback time limit

Currently it is possible to edit your own feedback given on a page up to around 10 minutes after posting it. After this period it is not possible to edit feedback.

It has been requested from some lecturers that this time period be extended so a new feedback doesn't need to be created and that existing feedback provided by the lecturer is able to be edited.

This could be achieved through having a Save draft button or extending the time period to a couple of days or so .

Or eliminate the time limit entirely, and make each comment's edit history fully viewable by users.

+1 for Aaron's suggestion. Fixing typos etc should be available to the original author of the comment I think

Just as a note: Currently, when you edit feedback (or forum posts for that matter), the edits are not sent out with a new notification. This would need to be kept in mind if the functionality is changed.
