Bug Description
We are using groups in this way: students share a collection with the group once and it can be viewed by tutors multiple times over several years. We specifically don't want to lock content or have students submit multiple times. The collection should be viewable all the time. So that students don't see each other's collections, the students are not members of the group, but still share their collection with the group. We'd be happy to have the students be members of the group as long as they couldn't see each other's shares.
Here's the 'bug':
On the group's about page, the list of pages and collections shared with the group is blank unless the student (sharer) is a member of the group.
Group members (tutors & admins) can see the shared pages on their 'shared with me' page, but it would be more convenient to have the list in the group page.
I think we're on version 17.04

Hi Cyle,
I did a test with latest release of the 17.04 version and I can see listed on the group homepage the shared pages/collections by non-members when I view the grouphome page as a group member.
Can I get you to check a couple of things:
1) Go to the group homepage (as group admin) and click 'Edit this page' and then click on the configure (cog) icon for the 'Group pages' block and make sure the 'Display shared pages' and 'Display shared collections' are set to 'By anybody' and save the config form. Check to see if that fixes the problem.
2) If not, go to the Administration -> Admin home -> Register page and expand the 'Data that will be sent' field (eg admin/registers ite.php) and find the 'version' and/or 'release' values and paste here so I can test against you exact version
Cheers
Robert
