Bug Description

Using version 16.10.4

Under Plugin administration:artefact:file:file > Resize images on upload, if "User option" is set to Yes, but "Resize large images automatically" is set to No, an option will be displayed to users appearing to allow them to choose to have images resized automatically. Images will not be resized, though, and failure is silent (no warning or error displayed).

It seems reasonable to expect that, if a checkbox is displayed to end users for an option, checking this box should be sufficient to enable that option.

It's unclear whether this is a bug. However, I recommend that one of the following changes should be made:

* No checkbox should be displayed to the user unless "Resize large images automatically" has been set by the administrator, or:
* A user checking the checkbox should be sufficient to enable resizing of the image that they are currently uploading.

If the former change is chosen, I suggest that text displayed on the plugin admin screen should be updated to reflect this, and/or the "User option" setting should be disabled unless "Resize large images automatically" is enabled.

Thanks for the report, Rob.

I suggest the following: When image resizing is set to "No", the "User option" switch is set to "No" automatically as well and greyed out so it can't be changed.

That should take care of all that.
