Bug Description

This is a feature request - not a bug...

Smart evidence maps look to be great tools for visualizing competency frameworks in relation to user's work.

Since they are for visualization it would be a nice refinement to allow users to customize the overall view of their collection that contains a framework map, instead of forcing it to display as the first page of a collection.

This would be especially valuable for self-assessing frameworks where students are expected to construct their collection as a self-reflection on which courses/units/projects in their program or degree and then share the finished product with a target audience or instructor.

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi David,

Having the SmartEvidence page as the first of a collection makes it kind of like the cover letter of the collection - also it easier to code :)

I suggest instead we could have an option where one could hide the SmartEvidence page from some audiences, say friends, but tutors/admins sees the SmartEvidence page.

Robert, this is already a feature proposal on the spreadsheet when we discussed the functionality at the beginning. We didn't implement it in the initial development work though to keep the effort manageable. So I'll keep this wishlist item here.
