Make it possible to comment any block in a page

Bug Description

Maybe I have missed it, but it is currently impossible to comment blocks individually when a user sends his/her page for assessment in a group or when a page is shared. Only the journal/articles block has this feature.

It would be a nice to have.

Note, this is not a bug, but an improvement request. I didn't know how to create an issue for the wishlist.

Thanks,

Melvin

Hi Melvin. Which blocks are your concerned about? If you allow comments on files and notes, you will be able to provide feedback on them. Or do you also want to comment on blocks with external content, plans and the resume?

Thanks for the confirmation, Melvin.

Text blocks already can get comments when you use the "Note" block. We are not going to add comments to the "Text" block as that is purposely kept very simple. If you need comments, it would be the "Note" block.

Being able to commen on other blocks would be great. So I marked it as wishlist item. Do you want to propose a solution?

Cheers
Kristina

Hi Kristina,

Thanks for that. Hum... I'll let my team decide if they want to send a solution. It's something urgent so we can wait. We will let you know if anything comes up from our side.

Thanks for your help !

Melvin
