I get this fatal error PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::get() in /home/robertl/htdocs/mahara-testing/mahara/htdocs/lib/view.php on line 5801, referer: https://mahara-testing/admin/users/edit.php?id=4

Sometimes the object holding the user data is a StdClass rather than a
User object
