Bug Description
Many blog, journal, and publishing platforms include "share to social media" buttons. Often this takes the form of a series of icons representing different social networks, with a number underneath each one indicating how many times it has been shared to each (see the attached screenshot for an example from the Wired website).
We occasionally get requests for similar functionality in Mahara, and it would make sense for certain use-cases, where Mahara is meant to be used by adults publishing things for public consumption.
This may be something best-served by a third-party blocktype plugin, which could be added to a page in order to put the share buttons on it. Or, in order to achieve better layout, a module plugin with some new hooks in the core code.
Another thing to consider is adding "share" buttons to individual artefact pages, particularly journal entries. This may require that we first implement individual artefact permissions.
I would like to second this request. Specifically, I'd like to be able to get a 'secret' link for individual journal entries that I could share/submit to a moodle assignment (for example).
