Bug Description
Mahara 1.8
Hi All,
I have a mahara page with Mahara support videos embedded from youtube.
The page has about 12 videos and takes ages to load.
I have 11 of the video blocks collapsed and one open - hoping that the retracted ones wouldn't load until opened.
However even though the blocks are automatically retracted Mahara pre-loads all the blocks - and I'm hoping we can investigate the option of not loading automatically retracted blocks until the user expands them.
This wishlist item would be a cool strategy people could use to speed up page load times for heavy/intensive pages.
Thanks,
Shane.

Hi Shane,
I think this would be a great idea. Only loading content when we need it would indeed speed things up.
I give this idea a +1
Cheers
Robert
