Bug Description
This is probably more of a TinyMCE bug than a Mahara bug...
In earlier versions of Mahara, at least 1.2 and 1.3 I think, the system asked you whether you wanted to add "http://" before a link if you didn't enter the protocol when linking text in a text box. This is not the case anymore on Master (1.7.0dev) and could lead to broken links esp. when users type in URLs.
I don't know when or why this feature was taken away, but it was very useful.

This is still happening, but since nobody complained, I only set it to medium. Basically, what happened in the past was that you were also asked if you wanted to append the http:// protocol to your link and could then say yes or no. Right now in master, the root URL of your site is added automatically thus making it a broken link as it's basically http:// maharasite. org/test. com
