2013-04-17 18:41:28 Rüdiger Kupper summary Systray icon disappears second time dash is opened Problem with magick-ratation and onboard: systray icon disappears when dash is opened
2013-04-17 18:46:39 Rüdiger Kupper description I use magick rotate in Ubuntu 12.10. magick-rotation is whitelisted as an indicator and displays fine after login. - When I open the unity dash, the green arrow stays where it is. All is fine. - When I open the unity dash the **second tim**, the green arrow suddenly disappears. When I execute "killall magick-rotation; /usr/bin/magick-rotation", the green arrow reappears, and the same happens again (disapperas at **second** open of dash). Interestingly, the green arrow can still be seen in the "Super+S" display, proving that it is still running, but it cannot be reached from the normal view. All is fine. - When I start the onboard on-screen keyboard, the green arrow remains. - But when I then I open the unity dash the, the green arrow suddenly disappears and is never seen again! When I execute "killall magick-rotation; /usr/bin/magick-rotation", the green arrow reappears, and the same happens again (disapperas when opening dash while onboard is running).
