Error window during product import, yet import continues processing just fine

Bug Description

After Clicking IMPORT PRODUCTS, processing starts, after a while a window saying
" Connection Error
Unable to reach to OpenERP server !
You should check your connection to the network and the OpenERP server."

In the log, everything is processing fine even after the error, and are successfully inserted/updated in openERP.

It would be useful if a progress bar shows during any of the module processing time.

Hello,

Don't know how easy/hard it is to build a progress bar.
But since synch could eventually take like 30 minutes in somes cases, or be done as cron jobs, instead I propose that the generic module base_externals_referentials gain the ability to log synch results upon collections in OpenERP request objects (like for the MRP scheduling). By default if no user is set up, those requests would go to the admin, else they would be sent to the specified user.

What is the easiest, most useful to implement?

yeah, it would be very useful having at least a kindof progress summary log window during processes, especially import and export processes as well with order status update process

I have similar problem but synchronizing the stock. The products were synchronized without problems.

Best regards
