install delphes fails

Bug Description

Dear Benjamin,

I got the following errors to install delphes through MadAnalysis in the current version.
I am working on mac sierra 10.12.

> install delphes

I got the following error.

MA5-ERROR: library labeled 'libDelphes.so' is missing.
MA5-ERROR: More details can be found into the log files:
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/wget.log
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/unpack.log
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/configuration_libDelphes.log
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/configuration_LHEF.log
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/configuration_STDHEP.log
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/configuration_HepMC.log
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/compilation.log
MA5-ERROR: - /Users/arindamdas/MadAnalysis/madanalysis5/tools/delphes/clean.log

then delphes installation failed.

Please help me to debug this.

Dear Benjamin,

Many thanks for your reply and extremely sorry for the late
reply due to a very busy schedule.

Actually I have managed it. I installed delphes separately and
noticed it worked. When I tried to study the .LHCO files through MA5,
it could give me the distributions.

Please let me know if this is an alternative trick and correct one or not.
Otherwise I can go for a fresh installation and give you the log file.

I have one more question. Could you please tell me about some references
where I can get the Syntax for studying the .LHCO files. I know the manuals
are having very nice collections about the syntax for studying the .LHE files.
Are these same ? I mean, same syntax can be used to study the .LHE and .LHCO files ?

Dear Arindam,

I am happy to read that you have solved your issue. Information about the LHCO format can be found here:

At the MA5 level, the syntax is the same as for LHE files with a couple of extra options documented in the 2012 manual.

Dear Benjamin,

Many thanks for your reply. I know the LHCO information link.
It it interesting to learn about the same syntax will be more or
less applicable for both the formats. That's really nice.
