Bug Description

Hello,

MAAS seems to lack sanity checks when adding a new virsh KVM host. One can add what appears to be any arbitrary gibberish into the "Address" field and MAAS will happily accept it and tell you that the new host is added.

Going further, if one adds a valid SSH connection, but for a user who has no actual virsh access, it will populate some system details like CPU and memory, giving a misleading sense of success.

I feel like this process should involve some form of validation before allowing the addition of a virsh host, such as querying virsh status to confirm it can make it that far?

Thanks for your time!

virsh is "soft deprecated" in MAAS. Although there's no timeline for dropping support for this KVM backend, we have no plans to improve it.
