KVM LXD deployment on hardware failure

I'm using snap version/build: 3.2.6-12016-g.19812b4da rev. 23947, deploying LXD or virsh KVM hosts on Dell R710's and dell R630's. Note: Deployment of standard Ubuntu server image works, however LXD hosts fail.

Issue:
- KVM Host deployment fails from MAAS GUI with either LXD or libvirt selected (see: LXD_MAAS_screenshot).
- No errors in the logs,
- Cloud init finishes successfully viewed from IPMI,
- Deployment fails stating it timed-out.

Process:
1. Commission host and get server into ready state.
2. Create 2 bridge interfaces, one with internet access - br0, one with pxe/internal network access - br1 (see: LXD_MAAS_screenshot)
3. Deploy "Register as MAAS KVM Host. LXD selected" (see: LXD_MAAS_screenshot)
4. Deployment continues, Cloudinit finishes, no noticeable errors in the logs, but MAAS show that deployment timed-out.

Nothing changed that I'm aware of as far as MAAS itself, so I'm wondering if maybe this is an issue with the images?

The images deploy without KVM enabled perfectly fine. Only with either LXD or virsh enabled does deployment timeout on hosts. Again, nothing in the logs to indicate where the bug may be.

LXD VM host provisioning has a known issue as:

Libvirt VM host provisioning part would be a real bug and I've opened:
