Hi,
Would it be able to add support for AMD Dash power type, it's very similar to Intel AMT, in fact, Intel is compatible with Dash. In the attachment I've made my own and added to MAAS, it's working fine happy to re-use my work as a baseline but unfortunately, I can't safely add it to MAAS without unpacking snap and then installing it from disk which then breaks updates, plus with the updates, my changes are gone. Probably what would be good is a way to add power plugins as an extension. I needed the plugin as I have over 120 AMD CPU machines I would like deploy via MAAS but I can't be bother going over and keep pressing power button at each and every one.
I can only attach single file, on top of the dash.py file I needed an extrea line in registry.py and the amt.xml file has to be simplified as few options from xml file are not supported in AMD Dash.

If you are interested in contributing it to MAAS it is best to convert this into a merge proposal and then we can review it and help you move it forward.
