MaaS UI: Hardware dropdown fails to retract after making selection, blocking screen space.

When a users clicks on the "Hardware" dropdown in the MaaS UI, and makes a selection, the selection completes, but the dropdown stays in place until "Hardware" is clicked again. This is neither standard behavior nor attractive behavior for a first time user / potential customer.

Please make sure the dropdown retracts when a selection is made. Whether or not it retracts when a selection is *not* made is up to your design instincts.

Do you mean when you make a selection and "Save machine" the dropdown does not retract for you? If you hit "Save and add another" the selection stays open?

There is no "Save machine" option. What I have is like the attached
screenshot. When I make a selection, the dropdown stays in place, even if I
select one of the machines, go to other screens, go back, etc.

The only thing that rolls up the dropdown is clicking on "Hardware" again.

Oh I see, I was looking at the Add hardware panel.

This has been fixed for the 2.9 release
