Deploying Windows images on a region controller results in "Permission denied: /etc/maas/rackd.conf".

The customer faced this issue.

I let them changed rackd.conf's permission to maas:maas but it doesn't work.

Their rackd and regiond are split.

regiond.log has Permission denied error msg, and actually in that node, there is no /etc/maas/rackd.conf because rackd is on another node.

I paste trace here.

maybe below code need to be changed

File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/provisioningserver/drivers/osystem/windows.py", line 72, in get_boot_image_purposes

to check rackd's node instead of local rackd.conf file.

Hello

Just asking why maas/2.6 is removed? the customer uses 2.6.1 and they said this patch is working fine. it would be better if maas 2.6 also has this patch.
