node fails to enter rescue mode

Bug Description

Trying to put a node into rescue mode it errors and I get an odd message in the events log
"Marking node failed - Missing boot image ubuntu/amd64/ga-18.04/xenial."

Possibly my settings had something to do with this.

I was able to get the node back to 'ready' state, and deployed by ensuring that the default ubuntu release for commissioning and deploying are the same.

Hi James,

It seems the machine is trying to boot ga-18.04 kernel in Xenial. This looks like a duplicate of [1].

What version of MAAS is being used?
