[2.2 UI] Custom images cannot be removed

Bug Description
If I upload a custom image using boot-resources create, then go to the Images tab and select from the action dropdown 'Remove image' and then click 'Remove' in response to the prompt, then the image is not removed. See the sequence of screenshots below.
