Cluster is not getting connected

Hi,

My cluster is not getting connected to region controller. When I took cluster page in the region controller GUI I can see that cluster is not connected. Following are the details of the setup.

1) Using MAAS Version 1.9.3+bzr4577-0ubuntu1 (trusty1)
2) One node having region controller and another node having cluster controller.
3) After the installation I have configured the cc using the following command.

sudo dpkg-reconfigure maas-cluster-controller
And gave 10.20.0.11 ( region IP) and secret value.

4) Configured the rc using following command.

sudo dpkg-reconfigure maas-region-controller
Gave 10.20.0.12 (cluster ip)

Check permissions on the /var/lib/maas directory; it should be owned by maas:maas. Specifically the failure is when MAAS is creating a file at /var/lib/maas/secret.lock but filesystem permissions prevent it.
