Bug Description
I am unable to commission the HP Moonshot M800 Cartridge anymore with maas 1.9 and maas 2.0 , using the keystone kernel.
it appears that this could be related to bug# https:/
However the cartridge appears to be in working order. and currently identical cartridges are being used in other testing non-maas related.

Hi Sean,
Could you please specify:
1. What image are you using for commissioning? (trusty/xenial)
2. What version of the images (releases/daily)
3. What hardware enablement kernel are you using?
Also, can you test whether D-I or CD installation work well and it doesn't work with MAAS?
Otherwise, this seems like an issue either in:
1. The MAAS image
2. External package, like the kernel.
