Bug Description
In bug 1441133 a way to ask the MAAS API for its version was added. Unfortunately, that ability was not extended to the MAAS CLI, which forces consumers to use something like curl to directly query the API.
The API documentation was also not updated, which leaves the capabilities API with a slightly confusing description (as the endpoint is named /version/): http://
