1.8b7: Cannot edit node name from UI - not able to save

Bug Description

I am trying to edit bakhtak-MSHYPERV.local and I click on the field and hit backspace to remove "-MSHYPERV" but it won't allow me to save it.

I tried both Firefox and Chromium.

We now only allow a hostname in that field instead of a domain name. So remove the ".local" and it will allow you to save.
