Bug Description

maas 1.7 has been running for about a week, I ran sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade, and now MAAS fails.
dpkg -l maas shows 1.7.0+bzr3299-0ubuntu1~trusty , I do not think that changed.

http://192.168.0.2/MAAS just spins and then eventually gives a 500 Internal Server Error.

/var/log/maas/maas.log shows errors similar to "region not available", "Failed to connect to region controller", etc.
All the logs from /var/log/maas/* are attached.
