Bug Description
There should be a timeout that eventually moves the node to 'Failed Disk Erasing'. This may not be easy since the size and speed of disks varies and determines erase time.

Monitor stuff should handle the basics, the specific wait time could be calculated on a number of parameters such as disk size and type.
